How my journey began

My journey in becoming the healer I am now, was far from typical.  I was raised in a religious family where the notion of psychics was looked down upon.  And that largely played a role in me not discovering I had intuitive gifts until I was well into my late 40’s.  Although, looking back, they were there since I was a child.  It was during my 40’s that I was going through a really tough time personally and with some health issues, but it was in those dark days, that my healing gifts came to light. 

Seeking answers outside of the tangible world myself, I went to see a psychic for the first time.  During the reading my Mayan great great grandfather came through to tell me that I would help heal people.  Well, never having been exposed to this type of talk of psychic gifts and healing people, I discounted it and put it out of my mind for many months.  Until later that year when I was at a nail salon, I was sitting next to a young lady who was also getting her nails done and I received a message from her loved one on the other side.   

I was so new to these gifts, that I was simply overwhelmed and I dared not say anything for being afraid of sounding crazy.  In that moment, I decided not to say anything to the young gal, but I cried all the way home.  I was so sad and remorseful that I had not helped this young lady or the person on the other side who so wanted to connect with her.  So I decided, right then and there, that I would accept my intuitive gifts and I also spoke to the Divine and my spirit guides, “Ok, I will do this.  But only if you bring the people to me.  I won’t go seeking people, I want them to come to me when they are open and ready to receive messages and are willing to be energetically healed”.   Ever since then, I have been blessed to help people from all over the world who have been referred to me. 

Now, I fully accept that this is my soul purpose in life.  I am my happiest when I am doing a healing session.  I know that I was meant to do this and I am so incredible happy and fulfilled to be a energy healer.
